I bought my second RSVR a few months ago in the depth of winter. I had swapped and changed bikes for a few years but never really found the love I had for my first Aprilia.
My first RSVR had the stock exhausts but I splashed out on a pair of Akra's and got the racy ECU map loaded by the dealer. But the one I bought recently came with a pair of carbon SP Engineering exhausts fitted. It flew through the MOT last week so on my return home I took the baffles out and took it for ride. It sounded amazing, very throaty and popping and burbling. BUT it doesn't run as sweet as it did. It stalled a few times when pulling away and the idle is all over the place. This is obviously as a result of taking the baffles out and so could easily be fixed by putting them back in but I love the sound with them out...
I don't know which ECU map is loaded but assuming its the standard would the racy map fix this? I don't really want to go splashing out on a power commander, I'd rather just get a pair of Akra's if not.
Opinions please???
