should always have an offsite backup of your data, on a removable drive, or DVD or another PC or mem stick or whatever. Should never just rely one and place for your data or this ill happen unfortunately. Even if it is backed up, if it's still in the same physical machine then if that fails for whatever reason then all gets lost.
Anyway, it's great it's back up running.
