Just bought some levers from China, cost £18.00 a pair plus £8.00 postage, arrived in 12 days. Fitted the bike perfectly with no modifications or alterations whatsoever. The quality is as good as you get from the so-called 'premium' brands. I have a pazzo clutch lever on my Fazer and I can't tell the difference other than the pazzo cost £75.00.

They look like a bargain, never had any aftermarket levers, what difference do they make?

Are they cheap for a reason? Are they made from good quality material? Hate to put a downer on things mate, but I wouldn't wish it on anyone to find out the hard way...

As far as I can see, aluminium is aluminium, and what is the difference between some guy in England or some guy in China pressing the buttons on a CNC machine? All I can say is the quality and fit are spot on, for £27.00 delivered what do you want?

sparky I think they're the same ones that nearly sent another forum member over the handlebars by locking the front brake as the measurements weren't spot on. Sorry dragon but just have a look through the previous posts and have a look. I think there's a few people have bought them with no problems and a few have had some issues. Just be careful.

Currently running standard levers on mine but that's just currently. Will upgrade at some point

Life is full of uncertanties, if you want a guarantee....buy a toaster

Yep life is full of uncertanties, just like after reading countless threads on cheaper levers and fearing me brakes locking on, or me clutch giving up when I'm 200 miles from nowhere. Or both snapping clean off on the pivots.
Theirs loads of different grades of ali too boys, ask the Fudmeister, he knows all about that ****.
Hummmmppphhhh

...aluminium is not aluminium. There are lots of grades that would not be suitable for levers!

I also have some chinese levers and I suspect they are likely a 7000 grade al (which is a logical choice). A few people have experienced problems with fit (including, I think, a couple on here). Tolerances of the mating surfaces are variable. This could be due to the NC machine used (lead and ball screw wear) or more probably that they are skimping on tool changes. I was careful to measure mine thoroughly before fitting. They are fine

they are good value BUT be careful lads, errors could be painful and costly

I think I'm more concerened whether the countless ********* on the roads are about to hospitalise me due to their (at best) shoddy driving rather than worrying about the tensile strength of a bit of metal on my bike. But fair do's, stick to what you feel comfortable with, after all it would be a bit boring if we all went out and bought the same stuff.

fair comment, i,ve had both in the past and had no problems, but you have to think on, theres fitting them, and fitting them properly...

how many of you have fitted a soft link to your chain?

were you happy with it ?

easy job ?

Now think... if that link fails at 125, who,s fault is it.?

Could you fit a clutch lever?

sorry, i,m gonna stop now..

I've not got the tools or time to mess around with stuff garry. I prob could depending what needed to be done but I've yet to invest in front or rear paddock stand yet.

I want a torque wrench, Halfords professional tool set etc but its finding the money to buy them with other things going on at the mo so if anything needed to be done cheaper for me to send it into shop than buy all the stuff and do it myself. Saying that I've got a socket set and stuff. Not got a socket to fit over the Aprillia wheel nut though and def need a torque wrench

Will these fit to the standard bars? How are they for feel under braking? I guess they keep fingers warm in the winter.

It's the new 'pro-sport kitchen appliance' range exclusive to hein gericke, you want to see their expandable microwave-tailpack...genius!

Does it come with vouchers from Iceland. I might very well be interested in this for the 20th Aug North Wales run. Will it run off a lighter socket and is the ding audible with a helmet on so I know when to stop and eat?
