Sproker mate ! not sure if there's much difference between the standard 2001-2003 RP58 eprom. However me and smiffy run with the Arrow eprom no real power difference but a crisper throttle response :doug may be the fueling is better :dunno but works for me. Im also running a performance open renegade type air filter and arrow can.:thumbup
As yours appears to be a 2000 model you may notice a bigger difference :dunno
Have fun Craig

more to do with how good yer dyno man is mate. the std or CER rep chips are good. The arrow one will be fer arrow cans, prolly not much diff tho.

I had an arrow chip on my 2000 bike.

Made it run rich and when Phils motorcycles dynoed it we pulled it out and went back to the stock chips as it fueled better.

I'm thinking of getting one of DrRossi's chips, would that be better :dunno as i cant afford a power commander :jack or would you get a dyno test with the chip i have :dunno

Gabro knows his stuff. I am just embarking on what chip to use. I have a chip from ebay, dunno what it is, but it definately mentioned 2-2 exhausts in the description. My bike currently has an RP58 chip in there. I also have the later Titanium SP chip. I have not tried swapping about to see differences yet.

My bike has a power commander, renegade airbox and 2-2 race exhaust, so with the correct chip (for advancing the spark timing) and the correct PCIII map, my bike should be sweet. I am sure the timing is very relaxed on my current RP58 chip. I think a pm to Gabro might be the way forward .....

Sorry to dig up this thread but do you know how much these are worth? I just swapped my chip out and I dont needthis one at all. My bikes power is so much better with the different chip in.

I would guess £10, but I bet if you stuck it on ebay, it could go upto about £25.

Ebay is the way to get a good return from an item like this. If you do not have a box and foam for the chip, make sure you keep it pressed into some foam because bent pins are really annoying and can easily snap

Cheers for the tip mate, I do have a bit of foam I can store it on so ill do that. Will chuck it on ebay tonight or something. The difference was very noticeable between the 2 chips

ive sent alot of different eproms to dr rossi for testing and most are just rp58 with a different label so be careful, especially the ones on ebay for around £20 you only get what you pay for! gabro or alains(dr rossi) chips are definately the way ahead. ducati kaemna chips are just rp58 with different label if i remember correctly from the testing and they cost a bomb around (190 euros)

With that in mind ive only sold on any chips that i have that make a difference!
