Ariete valves & OZ wheels

The older OZ's front has a ridge in the middle of the wheel and this means these will not be seating properly due the ridge, i had the same problem and had to resort back to the original straight valves to solve the leak problem, basically they are no good for older OZ's, they do fit the newer ones however as they are flat in the centre of the wheel.

bugger - I've just bought 2 sets of angles valves for my older wheels :confused

I don't spoze adding an o-ring to help seal from the inside would work :dunno

matey I have a set of unused oe vlaves that came with my OZ's, I'l swap you if you fancy.(bit of cash yer way)
Not had any probs with ariete valves on 0z's or on my BST's.
Ck

hey ck if that was a question to me, I'm going to still try fitting them if they don't work I'll probably install them onto my R1.
cheers

Garage put one o-ring to the outside of the rim and promised that the air stays in. Have not yet proved that it will stay or leave.

I am doing the water test this evening.

After a short submerged test The air does not get out of the tyre... No bubbles.

Hope it works when you are doing 160mph as well then mate, keep an eye on it:thumbup

Yep I hope, however, it is squeezed between the rim and the valve body. I believe it holds.
