Hi to all,

If the weather finally brightens up i'm looking to do a track day at Oulton Park, I've got awsome arrowe can's fitted to my 2005 rsv r, i always ride with the baffles removed as they sound so much better on full volume, does anyone know what sort of db level they will be knocking out, the limit for the track is 102 db, does anyone know if the are they likely to be over that.

Many thanks

Geoff.

I've got carbon arrow's and a hooked stylie air box on my 09 factory, although not been to Oulton yet, it passed at Snett , think the limit was 102 or 103 there, can't remember what, passed no probs, also ride without db killers, rude not to with that lovely growl coming out the back, dosey car drivers hear yer coming too.

There are a few apps for android phones and iphones that will measure exhaust noise. It seems that some are certainly quite accurate. Might be worth a try.

Have a look at this thread... http://apriliaperformance.myfastforum.org/about6523.html&highlight=iphone on the old ap forum.

Rob :)

You will allmost definately be over the limit with the baffles out, mine only just scrapes through with them in :biggrin

Don't know about Arrow but I have to use baffles in Akrapovic's. 102 with them in, 108.7 with them out.
Best thing is to take them with you. try your luck and slip them in if it fails.

108 from my termi's without, not tried with yet but donny was a noisy one so never checked. :)

Mine failed at Snetterton last monday 102db limit and it made 103dbs on a Aprillia Titanium can. But lots of people say they have passed, i think mine needs repacking so bear in mind it depends how much use theyve had too !! If in doubt take the standard ones !!

Thanks for your replies fellas, will start practicing fitting the baffles in a hurry just incase, seems such a pitty to quieten such a great engine noise down.
