Its been 2 weeks since i ordered the jet upgrade from apriliayorkshire and after a week i gave them a ring and they told me they would send the part and it would be with me in a day or 2....................................:roll

2 weeks later and 2 phone calls 3 emails to which they dont reply and still NOTHING :angry:angry:angry:angry I call that taking the P#SS Just to warn you fellas don't bother ordering from them knowing the crap service they have given me :angry
 
I bloody hate that sort of service. If they're struggling to get the part why don't they just tell you that. Once a supplier/dealer starts being tight with the truth I go right off them. Plus I'm very impatient once I've made my mind up to buy something and just want it NOW!

Steve im having the same problem with some stuff ive ordered, get thro to Adrian, ive told him if its not with me by friday they can stick it up their arse and give me a refund, bunch of :jack:jack
 
Is this mod only for the early RSV's and also how many have done the mod and it has remaind successful, i read quite a few who have done it with good initial results only to have the problem return.

Yes, I've done the mod and yes it works very well. It totally cures the problem. I bought it from the offending party in yorkshire a year ago when I first became aware of it. They told me then they had one in stock but it still took 10 days to get to me.

Does RSVRNet.com now sell this part?
 
The upgrade in question is the jet 40, a very small jet that fits near the oil filter, I think up to 06 the standard jet was a jet 60, though dont quote me on that. What the replacement does is allows you to get neutral much easier.
I have changed mine and it has worked a treat, though I did wait approx 9 weeks for it to arrive.
Looking through the threads though it hasnt worked for everyone.
It is an easy job to change, if I can do it anybody can. :biggrin
 
Had the fairing panels painted so I thought I'd do a proper job and ordered the heat shield sticker that goes on the inside bottom of the right side fairing by the collector box, from Aprilia Yorkshire. Still waiting for it now, having f###in ordered and paid for it on 29/11/07.

Made enquiries at Motorcycle Maintenance Ltd (Top Top people) in Leigh, Lancs, and they could get me the part in three days. I'll never use " Ultimate Parts" again. :jack
 
They are local to me and don't have a good reputation for service :bash

for reference also try the guys at Preston Superbike. (formery slingers)

Top guys and the have a place in wigan too.(orrell?)
 
Or the Rocket centre in Blackburn are always good for spares and customer service:thumbup
 
If nothing has come by monday which i very much doubt , ill be demanding my money back .

The service is a disgrace :roll:rant

Im beginning to think that when you ring them they don't give a f##k, and they are bagging every body's money without sending parts out and then go bust :jack Ok so its only £13 but thats my money and many other's monies that they have kept without sending parts out :jack
If i lived nearer they would be getting a knock on the door and some friendly advice :angry
 
Steve do what i did and get ya money back then order it from someone who gives a fcuk :thumbup

Will do , i rang thursday and the same bloke answered and seems he's just sitting there with a long list of excuses that he just reels off at random !!!

4 f##kin weeks aint good enough :jack:rant
 
That might be the bloke that called me a rude man and put the phone down on me, so i rang back and asked why i was a rude man as i had not sworn or shouted at him, he replied that maybe we got off on the wrong foot and apologised for calling me a rude man, i then explained his company was ***** and should look at the Aprilia forums for feedback on his customer service, within 3 hours i have recieved an email explaining my parts are in and have been posted 1st class (with postal tracking number), this will be interesting as they seem to have forgotten i cancelled the order :thumbup:thumbup
