Aprilia tuono 57plate

Hi guys I'm looking for some advice my bike has done 20,000 miles, I was riding other day and just cut completely out? It wouldn't turn over and the ecu sign came up on the dash, is there a common fault unknown to me or any advice would be very much appreciated , many thanks ash
