Aprilia Tuono 08 top yoke

S

sharkie

I have for sale a top yoke, bar clamps and handle bars from an 08 Tuono factory . Should fit all RSV/Tuono's with 51mm fitment.
Up for 155 quid posted which is what I payed for them.
Any questions please pm me. :thumbup

........seems to be the case, I'm just making sure that the mk2 Tuono yoke drops onto the 02 Falco since that would be the simplest way, the commercially available version is a riser mod which probably means a new set of cables etc and doesn't look as nice. I've a feeling that if its the same arrangement as on the mark 1 Tuonos it will drop straight on :) Either way will know tomorrow (Tues).

If you have the Ohlins forks it fits, otherwise you need a very, very big hammer!

(Showa fork is 53mm)

That's strange, I thought the Showas on the Mk1 Falco were zackly the same as on the Mk1 Tuono and the Mille, obviously not. :dunno If they're not, then presumably the mk2 Tuono yoke aint happening either........

Hansie, what forks are you planning to drop the yoke onto? Ohlins?

Sharkie PMd you, as soon as we know if the plan is a non runner I'll get back to you.

Showa forks are 53mm
Ohlins forks are 51mm
Installed Ohlins forks last week so I'm quite sure.
Will post pictures in this forum these days.

I dont have PM ??

Hi guys
The yoks are from a late 08 Tuono factory 51mm Ohlins fitment that i beleive is also the same as standard Showas on the MK2 Tuono

Bang on,
they won't fit a Mk1 Tuono without some machining

and sadly they wont fit my 02 Falco either :bawling Dropped you a PM Shark to confirm no can do.............

To fighter the Falco I need to find some tasty risers, its then a case of doing a decent fitment to the OE yoke. The key issues are gonna be

1) Choosing bars which don't foul the fairing, I fancy flat bars or Renthal s'bike ultra low. May still have to cut fairing back.

2) Hoping I don't need a set of longer cables.

3) Keeping an eye on the bars at full lock re tank possy

4) Deciding on a damper. Or not.

Sounds like a lot, but its less hassle than wacking a Tuono yoke on ;) Even if it all dropped on some of the above may still apply........

@Nick,
When I buy this yoke, Ive got a ABM one to spare with risers and bar, painted black.
Also a set of extra risers so you can use a fatbar. At this moment I use the Renthal (KTM design) fatbar.
Think Ive got total 3 bars with it....
PM me if interested.

This will fit the Showa forks for sure!
