G'day fellow RSV owners.
I am in need of replacement of the Spring Drive Fixing Bush that bolt the crown holder to the rear sprocket. (part number AP8121226 / item # 9 in the Aprilia parts manual).
Long story short – I dropped a chain while riding and it sheared off the head of that item.
I have seen some people refer to these as drive pins.

I found a supplier in Europe that lists these parts but has no stock.
However, if I look at the later Aprilia RSV 1000 models (eg 2000 – 2003) – they have a different part number, they have stock and they look the same as the part I have (judging by the picture in the manual).

So, my question is - do you know if I could use the parts from the 2000 – 2003 in my 1999 model? – ie substitute Aprilia part # AP8121226 with Aprilia part # AP8121408

Appreciate any advise that you could throw my way.
