Aprilia Racing Titanium can??

Another quick question guys!!

The Tuono I'm picking up on saturday had an Aprilia Racing Ti can fitted (plus original) but have heard they are VERY loud???? Is this true?? Do they come with baffles??? Just that i'm going to be starting the bike at about 0630 in the morning for my dayshifts and don't want to become an outcast in my estate!!!!

If it is obscenely loud, i may be looking for a swap with another (nice sounding) but less ASBO loud!!!!

Redrat mate........if it is as loud as it seems to be then i may have to shift it on!!!

deacs mate, i'll see if it comes with baffles if not will see about getting one made up and try it again before shifting it!!!

Had 1 on my mille, used to leave the house at 6am so I started the bike up down the road no one complained but I was very wary of the noise.

They dont come with baffles you will need to buy DB killer or similar like deacs said, I changed mine as I was too paranoid of the noise.

Got a arka 2:2 systemn on it now and it no where near as loud.:doug

i RAN MINE FOR 12 MONTHS AND NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT. iT IS LOUD BUT NOT OFFENSIVLY SO. Id buy a bd killer rather than sell it if you are worried about it..

I dont think that mine is that loud - atleast on tickover, but when starting it on fast idle and letting it warm at 2k rpm last weekend my neighbour was going to her car and said somthing which i couldnt hear. So i walked over and said "what?" and the reply came "that makes alot of noise doesnt it".

You might have some trouble with a db insert cos my rsv ti can is wide as the collector all the way through then narrows with a cone on the exit pipe, which is an awkward size.

You might be better with a dual exit after market can so you can have 2 db inserts so theres less restriction :dunno

Thanks for the replies guys!! I'll check the decibels tomorrow and take it from there........simply can't have it too loud on the mornings!!!
