as the title suggests were on tour in essex on 22 nov at the piemans house!!

the giggles are guaranteed and si does make the most excellent bacon butties!!

Crap !!, can you not at least wait until summer by the 22nd, there will be 3 feet of snow on the ground and it will be -40 :eek:
 
I'm (well the bike, not me) gonna need one of them throttle body setups done.
Finally got bothered to check the mixture screws and they were adjusted too low. Took 'em out to about 1 and a quarter and 2 and a quarter to see if that made a difference and the bike didn't stall once to AND from work!
But er yeah, just need them setup properly now.
 
It didn't sound too great!
There must have been a reason why I adjusted 'em, just can't remember what that reason was now.

Should be fine. Price for what? I may be able to give you an idea. I have asked for a 'menu' I think he'd get a lot more response if people knew how much work they were getting for how little cash. He's working on it. Slowly!!!
 
oil/filter change and throttle bodies ?? - never had fuel injection before, so whatever needs setting up. Can you pay by credit card on the day... that makes life easier as its not real money and the wife doesn't see my credit card bill !!!! ( I rule my house with a rod of iron).
 
Think a tuneup is about £50. Then you'd probably just pay for oil and filter on top. Best speak to the man on Monday though. I've text him that you're interested. Paying by card isn't a problem, Griff's business is all legit lol

Do these visits from Griff come around often?
Without wanting to sound like a ***** i would much rather be taking the bike out in the drier weather than we are having at the moment. If there is likely to be another day in six months I'd happily wait till then specially as my bike is all wrapped up in cotton wool for the winter now

Dobber, no problem. I get my major service done in march/april, then if last year is anything to go by I'll have at least one more in May/ June for the dry weather riders.
