I had my Ohlins unit (which could be for sale at a price which reflects that it's done less than 200 miles after a £160 rebuild) refurbed by an official Ohlins agent - Steve Jordan motorcycles.
Service from them aside, Sarah Jordan said to me that people who advertise these services at £80 or so, would only do the "basic" service i.e. oil change, and a quick check over.
I paid for some parts (mostly seals and a bush) but had the shock completely stripped and any worn part replaced or refurbished, shaft polished (oo-er) and set up for my weight. I got the big bag of bits which had been changed (which I still have somewhere) :dunno

Don't know whether this is sales speak, or there was some truth in it.

The bloke on EBay doesn't appear to be an "Ohlins Performance Centre" i.e. not an Ohlins licensed agent with associated fees I expect :roll.

IIRC performance bikes used this guy in one of their articles sometime over the last 18 months, if it's the bloke in Bradford. Mind, they were hardly likely to give a bike mag sh!t service.
