Anyone used Metzeler Sportec M3's???

A mate has a pair sitting in his garage that he bought at the NEC show but his bike was nicked from the hotel during that night (R1). Anyway, he's just been paid out from insurance and bought a (new) R1 so don't need the tyres. He's offered me them for £120.00 the pair but i've never used them. Any advice appreciated!!

He's holding on to them till 1) i decide and 2) till i have some cash available!!!

I used MEZ'4's for commuting I assume they might be similar due to the name. MEZ-4's a great for commuting I put 7K on the rear and the front could prolly make 8.5 K. Mine were all weather tires good compound for a person who like to skid around. reliable in rain and great for commuting. German engineering. Oh yea! I'll post a pic if you wanna see the sexiest skid ever at the mall parking lot!

:thumbup hello there mate I have them or I had them on my 07 ,It is a good deal.just remember to heat them up good before you go full tilt boogie.I got 3600 miles out of the rear and the front is still good for another 1000. but mamma put a set of perilie corsers on the 07 for x-mas for me..I would get them good deal. :biggrin
