Just after some feedback as regards to the new Dunlop SportSmart tyres.
In the never ending quest to balance grip with longevity these hoops are getting some good reviews so wondered if anyone has tried them on an RSV yet?

Cheers

Had a set on my last bike (a tuono) brilliant grip in the wet or dry! I traded the tuono in for a RSV when they had 2000 miles on them and at that point they looked in good shape! I will putting a set on my RSV for the summer

alright m8 must have posted at the same time , have you used them on a trackday??????

Sounds like nobody has a bad word to say about them??
There's only £5 difference between these and the 2cts so think i'll give em a bash once i'm due.
There's no tread anywhere near the shoulders which is great for dry grip but not sure how they'll fare in the wet but to be honest you don't want to be riding on the edge, when it's wet, on the roads...really:eek:

In reality, be honest..........are you likely to. My Maxxis have no tread on the shoulder and while I run them to the edge in the dry Ive never had a problem in the wet cos I dont lean it over that far

why would you want tae take her oot in the wet , something will stop working you know its true!!!!!!

I have them on my Multistrada 1200 S and have done five track days with them. Just put a pair on my 04 Factory and did Brands yesterday on a very cold day, they are great do it all tyres. Run them at 30 front 28 rear on track, but have read in magazines of people running the rear at 21 !! because of the NCT construction (but that sounds incredibly low pressure !)

Cheers Rod sounds interesting ,im coming to the end of my sport tec m3s and was lookin at somthing different.. i usually ride to my trackdays so 21psi is a bit dodgy if i forgot to pump them back up cheers...........

What are they like in the wet DS ?:devious:eatcorn

In spite of various unfounded rumours I have ridden in the rain! I was even known to ride in cheese cloth shirt, flares & platform sole shoes occasionally but not something I would choose to do now!
