Anyone tried a cruise control on a T

Hi guys, :thumbup

I was just wondering if anyone has any history of using a cruise control on a T

I have seen various types on the web and seen the various options.

I have a question about using the choke control as a cruise control - please pardon my technical ignorance on the possibility of using the choke. I am not at all sure if this is potentially dangerous or even if it will cause damage to the bike.

Has anyone got any thoughts on this, or has anyone even tried it.

Cheers :cheers

Ok,...for a start,its not a choke,...its a fast idle lever.
Using the fast idle as a cruise control is a crazy idea and potentially very dangerous.Any cruise control needs to be connected to the throttle for those panic/emergency situations.
Imagine snapping the throttle shut and the bike is still revving its bollocks off.:no
Harleys and old Brit bikes used to have a knurled screw on the throttle housing.Turning the screw tightened the throttle tube and stopped it turning back.A simple idea,...but it worked.

Yeh Man, it's a fookin hoot tryin tae light it.

I find the "bar end" type to be the best, after all, they are self emptying.
