I have noticed a strange thing the past couple of times when i run out of gas as soon as i open the gas cap, there is a lot of pressure built up and gas pours out. Its very strange. I mean the bike is brand new (factory version) and i am not sure what is causing it. Next time i will try and open it slowly

You sometimes get this on cars if the fuel runs low. I think the tank builds up pressure to allow only fuel to be pumped by the fuel pump rather than a fuel/air mix which would cause severe coughing.
