Anybody unhook exhaust valve?

Anybody successfully unhook exhaust valve without performing any other mods? Is it easy to do and does it induce any error engine codes?

I'd like to do this but don't wanna screw anything up.

Hi kansasvmax94, yes you is ok just done this, disconnect cables from valve and motor error will come up just ride and it will clear mine did,also very throaty after,got gpr thunderslash on at mo to noisy bying a leo vince gp pipe.

So if i remove the cables with the bike shut off, the valve will be disabled in the full open position right?

Haven't road but a short ride with it disabled but WOW!!! I love it with the exhaust valve unhooked. Sounds GREAT!!! I may even be able to hold off and leave it stock for a while now! Thanks Grizzly!

Get the race remap,the exhaust valve will be disabled anyway. It will also have a richer fuelling map & improve the low end fuelling. There are some dealers in the uk which can do this.
