I am having some Ultra Sonic Cleaning done to my Fuel Injectors before I have my custom map done on the Dyno

Having spent £150 on a Performance Air Filter it just seems logical to spend £30 + Labor = £80 to get the fuel injectors cleanned.
Why spend £'s on an Airbox and ignore the fuel ???

Has anybody on here had it done?

This picture kind of sells it to me

Extract of the advert;

We remove the filter screen in the injector and back flush them via a ultrasonic cleaning process. You simply cannot achieve these results just adding fuel injector cleaner. Typically we will achieve better than 2% flow matching between injectors. The usual horsepower improvement you can expect is from 2-7 horsepower gain along with much improved throttle response.

Found this on YouTube have a peek,

Before

After

Notice the end volumes between the before & after?

And how do you know their not blocked?
Obviously in extreme cases you will notice that their is a fueling problem but in general looking at the picture above, none of the injectors are blocked but at the same time they are not operating to their full potential either.
Its a recommend course of action prior to getting the bike mapped and for £80 its perhaps a maintenance issue that some may be unaware of?

I think they do a graph Mark which details the before and after performance of the injectors.
The older the bike the more reason to have it done.
Lets see how Thursday goes.

Hi Jake, i've not done this on my Mille but i did do it on my Supra before a had it mapped. I was happy with the results and they sent me the before and after test/flow results for each injector. I used a company who advertise on fleabay, sorry i don't remember their name but they were very professional.

Hi Mate
Thanks for the positive feedback.
The place that I am having my Dyno/Mapping done provides this service.
Hopefully Ill have a before and after print out, which if I get one I will post on here.
Seems to be a good and relatively cheap bit of maintenance as well as freeing up some ponies.

Had the injector cleaning done for a small cost of £80.
It is worthy to note that I didn't have any noticeable injector / fuel issues prior to having this done.
The main reason was to ensure both injectors were fully functional prior to a DynoJet custom map being made for the Power Commander.
Here are the results.
