Dont fancy doing it your self then buddy?
Great advice buddy, cheers..........my only real concern is that i have never painted anything in my life before, and wouldn't know how much to put on, how to evenly spray it on etc, etc........ so would probably try it, f*ck it up, then have to buy more paint and pay someone to do properly anyway!!!!
NOT CONFIDENT BUDDY.................:thumbup
Mate my brother is a sprayer. Done thousands of cars and bike's over the years. He's based in leicester so don't know if it is close for you or not. :dunno
I've seen people "try it' themselves in the past and it can get quite messy. And you quite rightly state cost you more in the long run. Plus you never get as good a finish from a can as you can from an air fed spray gun with infra red heaters an all. My adivce if you're not confident or never done it before try on something else first, before you reck your new tuone panel. Anyone can chuck paint on a panel and make it look alright but proper spray painting it on is first class. :inlove
I'll always have my painting done by a professional as i'm that fussy and i'll want it to look first class.:biggrin
I do custom painting and airbrushing on bikes and guitars, If you were a wee bit closer it would have been easier!!!
Lets see some pics matey

I paint too, down in Sussex (check out www.jonscustompaintwork.co.uk). Just in my garage but using pucca guns and a decent air compressor. Much too far away from Scotland but would highly recommend getting it done properly rather than spray cans. There is an art to spraying that you have to learn and practice to avoid a crap job.
some classy work buddy:devious chat kind prices do you charge:devious
