Hi all I've got a 2000 rsv Mille and have been taking the mrs on the back. Then we went to tesco and a little rs125 appears. She clicks an asks what is that? it's like yours but smaller! 
So now She wants one! I'm trawling eBay looking for one. I'm looking at complete wrecks an spending maybe £750 on fixing it up.

Does it makes sense with a budget of say £1200 to buy an old one and fix it up with all new Parts ie bearings, bushes, pads, tyres , engine bits Etc or buy a running one for the same amount?
I'm worried lots of these are owned by young scores an have been
Mistreated badly. I must admit some aren't but most are!
Any rs125 advice greatly appreciated!
