Seems a good idea but it must be hard getting your grips back on

I had tech 7 grips on the wifes bike and they are smaller in girth than some of the others

Ive had some on the millie for about 3 years, quite good, although, the n/s doesnt get as hot as the throttle one as the ali in the bars saps some of the heat. Ive put loads of insulation on the bar first. Easiest way to get your grips back on is to sray the inside of your grip with elec contact cleaner/ glue activator/ brake cleaner. Slips on like a glove and the fluid vapouries within a minute so the grip shrinks on the bar/ heat element.
