Hi all, is there anyone on hear near Brighton that fancies a quick squirt on my 01 Mille to check she's ok? I know it's a bit of an odd question, but not having owned many bikes (this is my 3rd, other 2 were Hondas) i'm not 100% sure i'd notice if there was anything out of the ordinary. There's the odd clank of gears, rattle of something etc that may well be completely normal, but not being a social rider I can't ask anyone else who'd know what they're talking about, especially with something as.....'unique' as an Aprilia.
I could take it to the garage, but i'd probably get the sharp intake of breath through teeth and either "i aint going near that mate" (i've had that!) or "this is gonna cost you".
And yes i do see the pitfalls of handing my key over to some stranger and standing on the pavement looking down the road and waiting for him to come back.
