Any Ideas?

I have a 2007 Tuono R and think it's great but just lately have started having snags when starting. Bike starts ok but as soon as it's started it revs to 4500-5000rpm and sticks there, doesn't happen every time it's intermittent. Has been back to dealer under warranty but they could only replecate it once in a week with no ideas. Went to take the beast out today and it happened again-aaaaggghhhhh! Anyone got any ideas?

Dunno dude. Mine was cutting out intermittantly at about those revs. Turned out the stator was pooched and pooched the battery as well. Took their sweet time to fix it too. Kinda ruined my end of the season.

ive had the same prob only a cpl of times,,,, although ive not been to my dealer i did do some net research and only thing i could find was the cold weather we have been having,,,so it could be the air temp sensor
