any help with chain sproket please

any help i have a rsv1000r 04 model at the moment i have 16t front sprocket and 42 rear chain as 53 links so which way do i go this is my first twin i know a lot of you lads change these size and best make would help also while im on got a little oil leak fairing off carnt see anything at all tank is a bit damp thats all when do you check oil when running or stoped when running marker showes max level thanks
 
15/42 is the way to go mate makes it less lumpy round town ,as for your oil leak it might be the oil pressure switch [only guessing] this happened to me and is quite common ....theres loads of peeps on here to help welcome to the nut ward

going i hope to get chain and sprocket today realy need to know which way tog 15t and 42t is that ok then with standerd chian 525
iv got 10 teeth misssing of rear sprocket really need sorting before march

holy **** mate what was it made from cheese ,yep 15/42 a goodun if your not sure just go with the 15t front :thumbup
 
i know got bike of ebay about month back had it picked up by courier it was from essex took the blokes word for it condition etc only just really gone round bike found the rear in a right mess so want to replace chain and sprockets so wanted to go right way with it it is a nice bike first twin always had gixers had chance of 750 k4 same price wish i had gone that way at times but really wanted to try a twin so in for the penny in for the lot

you wont be dissapointed mate ,loads of top blokes on here too[aprt from domestic dave an pompey pimp right dodgy they are spesh pomp ,gay as a daffodill an mucks about in boats a lot calls em ships ee duz lol :pirate] that will point you in the right direction +every feckers gotta gixxer welcome to owning something spesh,be prepared to have the piss ripped fairly often on here tho :devious nothing personal it just happens:pirate ,get that bike sorted matey and join the wooton basset ride out on mums day [threads on here somewhere ] oh an get some pics up its the law!!!!!
