Ive done one dude, got the official Aprilia flywheel puller and high temp loctite aswell AND Iam only in Liverpool, dont forget to get a new gasket coz chances are you will split the old one trying to get it off in one piece and DONT disconect the alternator harness multiplug coz its a right t**t to get back between the cylinders under the throttle bodies,If I ever do one again I would just swing the casing up out of the way and strap it to something around the tank.
If your bike is a little top heavy on mileage say 18 to 24 thousand miles I would suggest you get the big gear that the sprag drives on as chances are this will be chewed up and non repairable (been there tried to repair/polish it),new sprag should cost you about 56 quid but it will be a BMW one and need the engaging lugs reversing in the housing
