Well its been about 2 weeks since I purchased my bike (2002 RSV Mille R), and after looking at the oil the other day I decided it was in need of a lube change. Well found a nice deal on Hi-Flo filters on ebay, and then today I set out to change the ape's oil for the first time.

Since I have always done my own matenance work I was kinda excited to see the new bike and what kinda stuff the Italians have in their bag.

Not that I had to but I decided why not pull up the tank and check the air filter. This is where I got a huge smile put on my face.

I have the EVO air box mod, their velocity stacks, and the older non-restrictive air-box inlet. Man was I stocked. I had been reading for days on this forum before I got the bike about all the perfomance mods one could do to this bike turns out the guys I bought the bike from did them.

So heres my mod list
Evo airbox & velocity stacks
Akro twin system
PC3

I am really starting to prove that I got a damn fine deal on the bike.:nana:nana:doug:doug

and with all this nice weather here in California:devious, everyday has been mighty fine. Somehow I always have an excuse to take the long way home. I still cant figure out how a 2-mile trip turns into a 30mile ride though:dunno

APE's FTW

I suppose next you'll be telling us the streets are full of beautiful women with not much clothing on....:biggrin

Hmmmmmmm airbox ... filter... stacks... what more could you need :doug Funny how a half hour trip turns into a couple of hours on these v twins :doug:devious:thumbup

I'm really starting to hate people who live in California, all they talk about is their bleedin' good weather!! :lol

Hey, I was just going over your post. I have the same bike. I also have the evo kit. What I am interested in is the older non-restrictive air-box inlet you mentioned. Do you have anymore detail or maybe some pics of it. Thanks

Air boot pics bro

One pic depicts the restricted on top and unrestricted on the bottom. The other pic shows them side by side. AFI racing has the unrestricted for $70.
