I've used my o2 mille everyday for the last 3 days and have not had a problem. I wheeled it of my garage to wash it, put in the side stand. Then when i tried to move it a little the back wheel was locked and it won't start (it just said no start) on the display. The battery shows 12.1 v on the display. I've just put on my optimate now. Is this just a problem with the battery or something else. I am justa bit concerned about the back wheel appearing to be locked.

I'm sorry for making another won't start thread but i'm new to aprilia's tempramental ways.

Is it in gear :dunno :biggrin dont think it will start if it is...or have you knocked the kill switch..

Thanks sprocker, i am officially a knob. :jack
My only excuse is a very bad hangover, let the abuse begin. I deserve it.

hehe don't beat yourself up too much fella we've all been there :biggrin

I remember once many years ago being on a camping trip with an old girlfriend, i couldn't start the car. Got the RAC out to have a look, he eventually tied rope on to tow me round the campsite to bump it off to no avail, it was then i realised i had flicked my homemade immobiliser switch on the previous night :jack I never told the RAC guy tho' :biggrin

:biggrin:biggrin:biggrin

i think we have all done it mate...at sometime

Mate, that's almost as good as the bloke on the Kawasaki forum who drilled through his own ECU trying to fit an underseat numberplate!
Don't worry, we all have 'Kawasaki Owner' moments:thumbup

my mate just passed his test 2 weeks ago and he bought a suzuki bandit 600,:jack he came to mine saying it wont start, he had bought a new battery but its still wont start so hes being bumping it to get her going everyday,:dunno he said it started no prob when he went to buy it, but ever since it wont start, so i went to start it, it started no prob, hes said f**k me its never started for me, so got him on bike to start it, and sure enough it didn't start, cause he did not have the clutch pulled in, and of coarse he got some abuse and still does.

LOL I had a Citroen AX GT years ago and fitted a hidden toggle immobiliser switch in the the front grille, took my then girlfriend on a trip to Italy..........giving it the beans through the Mont Blanc tunnel with the scorpion exhaust singing I passed an articulated truck and the motor cut out......................girlfriend not happy as you can imagine ;-( ..........said I'll be able to fix it ....and like a **** checked through everything which took an hour till I thought .....HOLD ON.......THE SWITCH.......and there the bastard was flicked off from the air pressure of passing the truck in the tunnel...............I never told her the truth was too embarassed:confused

i done the side stand switch mod today and fitted a switch to my ecu so i can use both maps on my gabro f255 eprom after soldering ith side stad wires togeather it was saying no start so put back to standard still saying no start after a few cigs and a coffe i was still realy wound up but then noticed i took my tip over sensor off its holder to do the eprom wiring and left it upside dowd put it back start first time so had to do side stand again

I remember when I was an apprentice car mechanic ,, and a lady booked her car in for servicing Rover 3500 as it was running very badly , connected it up to the Krypton tune all ok and road tested it fine, she took it away came straight back and said it was the same . So i said I'll come out with you in the car , watched her start it then just before she pulled away she pulled the manual choke out from the dash and hung her hand bag on it then drove off , within a mile it cut out. So I explained to her about it lol. Had a mate fill up the gearbox of his two stroker with two stroke then wondered why it seized as he'd been puttin lots of oil in it , showed him the empty tank under the seat lol .
Wont tell you about the time I went too pull off quickly from a bike meet and forgot to remove the disc lock dohh !!!!
