G'day all. I have owned my red C'nord 1200 for just 4 weeks and I am totally happy with it. Best thing since sliced bread!
It has had it's 1000km service (and updates), and the engine has freed up nicely.
I liked it from day one, but was riding in 2nd gear for 60k zones. Now it is happy to use 3rd without being a lumpy critter. Of course I'm biased - I had my eye on one since 2013 when a lengthy test ride convinced me that there is life after 120,000 km's on an Ohlin's equipped Blackbird. (I kept the B-bird as my reserve bike in case the Aprilia needed a day off).
Anyway, I'm old enough to know when leg room is a priority and, I have to say, the suspension on the Touring model is first rate out of the crate. Sure this thing rumbles and snorts, but it will do the kilometers and the corners like the magic bird can. Our roads have deteriorated and the era of long travel suspenders is upon us.
Looking forward to sharing what I find out and reading about what you lot have to say.
Cheers from Brisbane Australia!
