Another fine day in Yorkshire

Well I met up with a mate called Len this morning in Knaresborough. He hadn't ridden up this way before so I decided to show him some of Yorkshire's best. We took the Yorkshire favourite via Ripon and Middleham and up to Hawes. When we got to Hawes Len had a huge grin and it was apparent he'd really enjoyed the roads. We had a bite to eat and then headed up to Ribblehead viaduct. When we stooped at the viaduct for a few photos Lenny leaped off his bike and was jumping around like a 5 year old at Christmas. He couldn't stop laughing and had absolutely loved it.

From here we rode down to Horton-in-Ribblesdale and took a snap with Peny-Ghent in the background.

We then headed down towards Settle, but turned off and headed over the moors to Malham for a cuppa before heding home via the Otley TT.

Cheers - that was a week ago today. Hard to believe with all this sleet, wind and rain of the last few days. The roads up here are just incredible - like rollercoasters....good practice for the Nurburgring!!!!!!!

Nice pics Stoney, I`ve been getting over to Hawes and the area for a few years now, some briiliant roads around there, have you tried Hartside Pass?
