thinking because of the size difference & back pressure... its either going to be very very good... or very very bad... lol !! :biggrin

so... as abit of entertainment... i thought id give a prize to who ever guesses the closest figure... with the baffle out !! :devious

i have a very fluffy sticky toffee... thats been gathering dust aswell... so i will give this away as a prize... even though i am emotionally attched to this toffee... as we go back about 6yrs !! :biggrin

so let the guessimates begin... im hoping for 122bhp !! :thumbup

previous run... 118bhp... ...

Just to get the thread started (and not just being a pessimist) I am going for 118bhp for the GP can (and 119bhp with the battered OE can as a side bet)

My guess is around 120.2HP

I am interested in seeing how the low/mid-range will turn out, can you organise as overlay of both for us all to ponder :devious

If you had it mapped I would think a few more HP but better mid-range!!

right... 1st off... its loud... no... its very loud... actually its OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD... & thats with the baffle in !! :biggrin

without the baffle the dyno guy was grimacing !! :devious

iv lost all engine braking... & it felt underpowered with the baffle in !!

the looks though from people as im coming up the road... never seen so many people turning their heads back... i felt like Moses in the traffic... cars just pull aside without any prompting !! :thumbup

it looks stunning on the bike aswell... to me anyways... i think it looks amazing !! :pirate

soooo... dyno with baffle in... 116.2bhp... lost 1.7bhp... & ran like crap... lost alot of power from 4500-7500rpms... from the standard can !! :roll

without the baffle... ran superb... 119.1bhp... small gain of 1.2bhp over standard... but a huge 5bhp gain from 4500-6000rpms... though loses a little from 6000-7500rpms... torque actually peaked 3300rpms lower @ 4400rpms... nearly matching the standards peak @ 7700rpms... thats quite amazing i thought... imagine if it was fuelled correctly... its basically just been thrown on the bike !! :eatcorn

the guy said if i was keeping it... & got the fueling sorted... then id get good power gain right accross the rev range !! :doug

but its just waaaaaaaaaaay too loud for me... specialy living in London & commuting past police constantly... so its for swaps/sale... ideal if you live on a remote island with no police !! :devious

think il get a Akro/Arrow can & chip !! :dunno

heres the sheet... RED is standard... BLUE is baffle in... GREEN is no baffle... ...

Why dont you just get a DrRossi chip, I bet it kicks the *** of these other supposed performance chips.
Someone on here has thier own dyno and run their mille with DrRossi chip with impressive results.
Ive got one and its spot on.

Very interesting.

Have you realised that yes you blanked out the numberplate of your bike from the photograph taken from the rear but the registration is still visible on all the dyno paperwork and the close up where you see your road tax disc close up?

well spotted... but i got my friend to upload the photos for me & he just does it automatically anyways... guess he's just being careful !! :thumbup

Whats the point of blanking the reg plate & posting a photo of the tax disk? Or are they not the same?????

Sorry missed the posts on 2nd page........ doh
