Anodized frame?

Do the earlier milles like my 01 come with silver anodized or some kind of finish frame and swingarm as standard?
I would just like to know before i start trying to polish with Autosol.

Dont do it dont even think about it. Theres a laqure on the frame and swing arm.

Its clear anodised for all years except models painted black/Gold

I clean mine with WD40 to get a nice sheen, same with the wheels :thumbup

Don't touch it with anything abrasive or it will remove the anodizing and then you won't be a happy Lone Ranger

Frankies frame and swing arm are polished, needs constant polishing (Autosol) as it loses its shine quite quickly.....................

Good info about the polished frame Kiwi, i was thinking about polishing as mines scratched to ****

irate in fact the whole bikes a mess lol but i will try to tidy it up this winter.
