Hi all of you.

It would be nice if some one from you can help me.

The describtion of my problem is in the first case I couldn´t find a free download service manual for an RSV 1000 R 2006 all of that are only 00 o 02.
If someone from you have this manual or a link you save my life with that.

And the descripotion of the problem is: my engine goes only to the 3000 or 2000 RPM if I giwe full throtle it makes abnormal noises and it dont goes higher than 2000/3000 RPM. The noises are not like there is something damaged in the engine it seems to be a problem vith the fuel diliveri or an electrical problem.

There is no adjustable rev limiter on an 06, only an adjustable rev light. :confused It's irrelevant where the rev light is set, just annoying seeing the flashing light.
Is the EFI lit up or warning triangle displayed?
Someone will be along soon with more tchnical know how than me to help you out. :thumbup

It may be the immiboliser ecu behind the left hand fairing panel.

This can cause all sorts of weird **** to happen, bike won't rev or rev's stick open:eek:

I had problems with mine and had to replace it (£200), although if you cut it open carefully you can re-solder the poor connections.

Just an idea, there's a good thread on here about the subject.

Get the bike over to Griffs (Fusebox) and if it is the Imobilizer, it can be by-passed, I know, mine is!

Oil pressure switch is faulty.....ecu puts the bike in safe mode and will not rev above 3000 rpm......fault code 47............very easy to change and they are £10

Thanks a lot guys.

The shift light is ok.
There is no light going on when i start and the engine is running.
And the imobiliser i think it cant cause this kind of problems.
I think its more somethink vith the fuel or the elestrical viring if you riding thr bike you feel or i feel that the engine becomes much more fuel and he cant burn it. I think its something in the fuel dilivery. I vork on bikes for long time ago and i think i fix this problem but I need the service manual then please if someone from you hawe this manual for an RSV 1000 04-06 please send me the link to download it.

And sory for my bad english i am from Europe from Slovak republic and i am stil learning english.

Many thanks.

Ou i didnt see it BB1000 you are right. It is my doubd too.
Just tel mee if you can I dont reli understand vhat you mean vith the svitch i think its the oil pomp thats make the presure in the oil system and even if it is faulty the oil presure is too low i dont rely understand what you mean vith that word svitch. Its a sensoror what?

And tne next qestion is can i read the fault code on the motorcicle display like on Suzi,Honda or Yamaha or it is possible only vith an diagnostic tool.

Thanks.

hello!!
my friend your english is a lot better than my slovak so please no apologies!!

if the oil light is on the dash then the bike is in "limp home " this means it will not allow the engine to rev above 4000 RPM

a very common proble with the rotax engine!

if you want to find out for sure then hold down the "lap/pass" switch and wait for 15 seconds or more a code will appear on the dashboard that you can cross reference against the table in the workshop manual !

if you need a switch we send parts out to slovakia last week for a guy! they arent expensive so no problem!!!

hope this helps!

hello
Pichi is my servisman;) he is great. I am the owner of the motorcycle, who has a problem.
Code from the ECU is 23 - Barometric Pressure
I read somewhere that it is necessary to replace the ECU. Could it be something else?
Where I can search for Barometric pressure sensor? :-/
Thanks ...

Hii guys.
I think - I do. At the bottom of the Airbox (left) is a pressure sensor (part number AP0274055). This I found on the net and also in fact. I believe this is a major problem, and no problem with the ECU. I bought a pressure sensor and try to change it. I hope it will work properly.
Keeping fingers crossed ;) ... because I´ll need to buy some new ECU :- /
best regards

So ... my mistake. The pressure sensor (part number AP0274055) doesn´t problem. I disconnected it and tried the test. It indicated an error 13 and also 23. I must looking on the another place. ... but I don´t know where :-/
Luck to me is that I have a friend who has RSV'05 and he lend me his ECU.
After testing a friend's ECU will know if the problem is in my, or not.

Well... a problem is done :doug Barometric sensor is same part AP0274055 as atmospheric sensor, but it is on the space next battery and ECU. I tried change atmospheric sensor (under left AIRBOX) and barometric sensor (under seat) and started discharging error code 13. It's clear! I thank all for nothing :xmas. Of course, except Pichi. Hopefully this will help someone else with code 23 problem.
Best regards
