I had a great weekend a few days ago...I spent it doing a back-to-back track day at BeaveRun near Pittsburgh to celebrate my birthday.

It was cold as balls (slept in the car...bad idea), there was hardly anyone there, but I ran some of my best times, and got bumped into the advanced group. So now I get to be straffed by control riders with reckless abandonment.

There was a guy out there with his T, he ended his day early after crashing his RS125 in the morning and bruising a few ribs. It did look nice though, and he said it was a real track buster. :drool

I was super sore and tired, so I must have done something right. I made some real improvements and dipped into the 1:03's.

The downside....I guess now I "just have to buy a generator/tire warmers" and start actually upgrading the parts on the R1. Oh well. :-D

yeah, i really think i'm going to make the plunge. if for nothing else than to keep the heat cycles low, and boost my confidence during the first few laps.

Nice one looks good... you would need to know the track though.. not many reference points for Turn in, Apex , breaking etc... nice weather though ....
