A mock up of how the v4 will look :drool:drool:drool:drool.

V4MOCK.jpg

I think a big waiting list eh :thumbup

Want want want want want, looks great i can not wait to see it in the flesh:thumbup

With a better paint job it will look much better :thumbup, early days yet though .... Start saving v4 pennies:pirate

Gorgeous looking bike but......... 1) I don't want the complication of a V4 with associated servicing costs 2) Picky this one - I was really impressed that my bike had a USEFUL hugger on the rear and this one seems to be a fashion item 3) Don't feel I need anymore power than I've already got

Still, long as they make it alongside the RSV V2 I won't complain. It's a shame that Aprilia aren't going to the NEC isn't it! They could have taken along a mock-up, give us something to dribble over (Still can't help looking and desiring!)

Im sure things have changed but i do recall the v4 RD500 , that was a mechanical nightmare to work on and it wasn`t that reliable either , but then again it was a yam eh.
Something made me want the RD500 as at the time i owned a 350 powervalve but times have moved on and a v4 sounds just the job :yes

Hmmmmmmmm, thought it was a Fireblade when i first saw that pic, a 1200 RSV would fit my bill better, and i think most will not have pockets deep enough to buy that V4

By the time most have saved up the v4 will be at everyones grasp, ill be betting it will cost new about £11000 maybe more so dam deep pockets and lots of wishfull thinking :pirate

What was quite amazing when I was discussing my RSV was the amount of quality fitements that you get on the RSV for a LOT less money than say a standard Ducati 1098. If Aprilia start producing bikes such as this they need to keep the RSV in the range because it seriously undercuts the Ducati's on quality parts and price.

Another winning point with the RSV is the reduced servicing costs (important to me if you've read my introduction to this site!). A V4 has got to be a lot more costly to service with twice as many cylinders and associated parts, never mind the fact that it's going to be a lot more difficult to work on.

If they start trying to attain Ducati's 'Ferrari' type image they are just going to lose customers because we won't be able to afford the things! My thought would be that this is going to be the homologation bike for Aprilia to commence racing again in the near future.

Still a gorgeous bike though!!!

Must admit it looks nice but it doesn't look beefy enough for a 1000 it looks more like a 125 especially the swing arm and rear brake lever

Help me push it out the garage when i pick it up :lol, i wish :thumbup

tried offering a deposit but they will not take it:dunno
