Akrapovic Titanium Exhausts - CIRCULAR SCRATCHES :(

Another cosmetic issue.

Sourced a set of Akrapovics second hand from ebay.

They were described as excellent condition with one tiny pinhole dent.

The dent is tiny as described but for some reason somebody has thought its a great idea to clean off the tar and dirt with the rough side of a sponge in circular motions..

Is there any way to reverse this and return them to factory state with the grain facing the right way?

They will look crap on the bike if I put them on as they are, the Bike is mint!!

Any help will be much appreciated.

I had some scratches on my akras after some luggage scratched them , i used Autosol on them and it worked a treat , did the whole cans so they looked the same all over :thumbup

Post up some pics mucker and make sure they're good enough quality for me to see the original and messed up grain.

Don't fook aboot wae them, let me see the damage first.

Aldo, sounds like you got a plan!

Mine are similar and on a pair of Akra, but not bad enough for me to worry about - the polish marks go round, not along with the machining grain

So I'll watch this post and thanks in advance! :thumbup

Only ever hed a Ti can once for this reason, they mark so damn easily.

Carbon is your mark resistant friend :)

You need some scotchbrite pads mucker, always go with the grain and do it like yer planing a bit of wood.

One other thing is it'll change the appearance of the finish so you'll need to do the whole can.
