I was reading Akrapovics installation pdf before ordering an Akrapovic Slip-On for my 2010 RSV4 Factory and I have a question.
The diagram and the photo shows the Carbon Muffler Bracket mounted to the bottom of the pillion footrest. I have removed the pillion footrests on my bike and it seems that the bracket might be too short by about an inch or so. Has anyone come across this yet and what's the answer please? Does it all line up without the footrest?

Well, I've ordered the road legal slip-on, the one with the cat in the link pipe and a carbon bracket anyway. I'll post anything of interest here when I've fitted it.

Thanks Carbon Kid, it all arrived the other day when UPS knocked on my front door. Installation was a breeze and I used the spacers. The Akrapovic installation sheet would have you remove the whole right-side fairing, all that's needed is to undo the belly pan and drop it down a couple of inches. The whole job took half an hour.
It looks 100 percent better than the original dustbin silencer, I'm really pleased with it.

yeah I love mine aswell, you can also get a non cat link pipe seperately, it does look better than a link with a baked bean tin half way down!!

Here's the photo. I don't think the cat link-pipe looks too bad.

Hi

If you get the link pipe without the cat due you need to get the bike remapped via ECU
