I have this and the frame on my 2000. I'd thoroughly recommend it, although i've not tried either the Renegade or Evo or Badgers sealed trick to be able to compare. Which reminds me, must try Badgers sealed trick :thumbup
It is a good fitting piece of kit the notoil filter and frame. The induction sound is increased no end, and it certainly gives the seat of the pants feel of a bit of extra shove. As to the claim of 7.5bhp, I think that is a little extreme, although I seem to recall that is the claimed increase if you buy the filter/frame kit together with the eprom that they offer?
I wouldn't recommend buying the filter without the frame.
