Airbox sound bites..

ok, ive gently requested this a few times, its now time for afronted action lol.

I was dissapointed with the sound of my totally standard mille when i got it. a lovely ti akra can (ta Carbon Kid) improved things, but my bike still sounds somewhat strangled in my opinion. Sooo.....

the airbox mod seems to be my next point of call, given that when sat on my bike, the restrcitive sucking sound of my airbox seems to drown out the lovely brap brap of my exhaust (anyone else think their bike sounds nicer from 2 feet behind than actually sat onboard!??) so comeon moddies, can we have a sound clip of your modded bikes please! :devious

I took my bike in for its MOT yesterday, so removed the Tigcraft cans and went back to the stock Aprilia ones on an hour:thumbup
Never had ran my bike with stock cans and then Rene kit, its amazing how good the induction noise is when you can actually hear it:biggrin

Sorry, no sound clips though and judging by the frost outside, its unlikely the bike will be coming out of the garage today.......

Same thing happened to me my last mot, it did cross my mind to actually leave standard cans on the airbox sounded that good but,but could not be arsed swapping the mapping back again so on went the loud boys again...

Sorry fellas i dont seem to be able to upload the vid... but it never came out that good anyway :roll, suspect i need a proper video camera to get the real true sound :roll

It sounds much more convincing in the flesh dolestar :eatcorn and all depends on what pipe you have fitted, mine gives out a deep tone with the Akra :thumbup
