Airbag jacket

Whats youre opinion on these?
and the posssibility they may be made compulsory :exclamation
This is my jacket which i have fallen off twice while wearing and its held up well.

My jacket before this one was cut off my back in hospital.

YES i have.
Ive had two cars pull out infront of me.
Sorry i didnt see you mate.
The first one was a head on as it turned accross infront of me, writng off my Gixxer1100 :rant
Just clipped the arse of the second car and went licking down the road, just snapped a brake lever and squashed a can with that one.

I've always thought that the fact that you could kill yourself just by falling off a bike gives most riders the sanity to ride within there comfort zone. If you think you are going to survive an accident it could be argued that you would ride that bit more dangerously.

I'm an advocate of removing airbags from car steering wheels and replacing them with a long spike pointing about an inch away from your forehead. There would still be the odd looney who would drive too close and too fast but natuaral selection (good old Darwin eh?) would soon clear the roads of these people and make the roads a much safer place.
