Hi guys, im going to check the plugs on my 2000 Mille this weekend and while im at it i thought i would clean the air filter. Am i right in thinking petrol would be the best cleaner and do i need to oil it up afterwards and if so how much oil? Cheers
 
Hi Just replied to you on another thread, If you have an after market filter KN or Pipercross, pipercross is a foam filter you can wash it in hot soapy water and use a degrease if you have a compressor you can blow it dry or you can buy a kit that has a cleaner and oil, Happy spannering
 
Cheers Geoff, im not sure what i am going to find. i have looked at upgrades on here befor eg:Map 2 and when i have gone to do it i find its already been done. Thanks
 
The k&n is more restrictive than the aprilia oem paper one so actually reduces airflow and slightly restricts power..

I would like one of Tashs airbox mods but just cant afford it right now

***** i see what you mean. Is it illegal to pull over, strip ya bike and pull one off while looking at ya air filter?
