Hi guys, can anybody tell me how much and where I can get the air box mod from, for my 2002 Mille. As apparently it makes an awesome noise at 6000 rpm and it makes the bike more powerfull:devious

I can supply you with the kit mate, they are £125 delivered in kevlar or £150 delivered in carbon.

Wow, that really looks the dogs nuts:thumbup, is it easy to fit and is it true about the performance gain?

They couldn't be easier to fit mate, remove your air box and screw the base plate on, fit the filters and away you go. The gains are 5-10 bhp mid range, and the induction noise is very addictive, well worth doing mate.

Cheers

Hmmm, i really fancy 1 of those. Will be in touch Mark.....

What HP are these achieving at the top end compared to a normal factory airbox with a 99 deristricted intake & K/N air filter ?

Im curious to know where the increase in bhp comes from if anyone can explain it to my none bike tuning brain? I understand that if you can let an engine breathe in and out easier it will produce more power but if the air intake is sealed then I would have thought the air would be rammed in rather than drawn in?

Any input appreciated,

Cheers Dave
