Air adjustment Throttle body

M

Mick Oliver

Hi
New to this bike but I have located a screw on the throttle bodies which I believe to be air adjustment screws.
What is the base setting for these from fully in as I think someone has played with them and does it just effect the tick over mixture or right through the range.:dunno

Hi mick !
Thet effect the air control at base idle upto around 3000 rpm so quite a critical are of the RPM range!

use vacuum gauges on the ports the oppposite side of the throt bodies to blance the vacuums correctly then your gonna need to adjust the CO to siut mate!
Quite a simple operation if you got the kit mate no worries!

we can sort all of these out for you if you need to watch someone doing it first???

let me know hope i can help!
Cheers

Yeah no probs can balance as have the guages I do like them running sweet.
Gives me something else to play with once I have sorted my garage electrics apparently running of the ring main as a add on is no good had the board out as burnt out main fuse to house.
Now burnt out ring main and I am only running Lights plus fan heater, patio heater telly Dvd compressor and a few other bits.
So run a 6mm cable to the garage on a seperate fuse box then happy days can run all the gear and keep the mille nice and warm.

jus remember mate you need to run the vacuums on the rear cylinder slightly higher! and the C/o at 3.5 %

Also dude the best fix ive ever found for smoothin out the fuelling was setting the throttle cable tension correctly, night and day mate, night and day!

sound like some yard your bike living in in geez! best of luck with the DIY i farkin hate it!

HEHE!

Cheers
