Ok peeps , the stock can sounds pretty good but I want a better , deeper ,
Louder soundtrack that the V4 demands .

I have been looking at the above. It seems the AR is coming in at circa £800 while the SC tops out at around £550 .....

Does anybody have an opinion on whether it's worth spending the extra £250 ish on the AR ? - I had the AR on my old Ducati and it was awesome ..

I have listened to the Akra and while it's good , I think I want more growl ......

Sc project comes with no baffles whereas the AR comes with different sized baffles that go in the link pipe to tame it a little if you want to.

I have an AR GP2 and am currently running with two 50mm inserts in the link pipe which still allows the phenomenal V4 soundtrack through, but is not as offensive as my old AR GP Ultimate that had no baffles at all (Like the SC project) This is assuming you are talking about the MotoGP type Sc project.

76mm link pipe with baffles installed.

The old system with no baffle option apart from a pretty small db killer that can be inserted in the end of the can.

Sounds great, thanks for taking the time to post this up ..... I guess the AR is arguably of better quality materials,
Craftsmanship and has options ......

I can't comment on the quality of the SC, but am extremely happy with the quality of the two AR setups that I have had.

The best advice I could offer is to keep an eye in ebay.

I think the £800+ asking price is a little steep and they come up on ebay quite often around half of that price.

Yeah there was one on there recently but the ad was taken down early so I missed out ..... Been looking ever since but there's not much availability in the 2nd hand market it seems .....

I have the Austin racing gp2r on my Tuono and love it. Quality is top notch and sounds crazy. Comes with 2 baffle inserts and a db killer to quiten it down (I took the straight out for the maximum noise). Always gets positive comments. I'd pay the extra for the Austin racing

I have the sc projects and it's loud need ear plugs but by crikey does it sound good

I live near Farnham, the bloke on the KTM did a few more wheelies before he left, I could hear your exhaust from some distance when you left LOL, I take it you have removed the flapper valve, have you done anything with the ECU?
