I have just fitted some Mivv GP cans onto my 07 RSV Factory (Photo's in the Bike Pictures Section!!) They are awesome with and without the baffles, not sure my neighbours would agree. The bike seems to be running fine there is a little lag there but nothing too noticeable. Can anyone please suggest what I should do to ensure the fuelling and the running of the bike is correct. I have been told the way to go is to fit a Power Commander and get it on a Dyno Machine. Is this feasible or can anything else be done. I have not changed the Map from Map1 to Map2 yet but I'm not sure if this would make any difference???? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Cheers All.:devious

Do not bother with a PC until you've swapped to map variant 2.
For full info, and reasons, have a look at Amurai's thread on AF1

err why do you think they have map 2 ?????????

go to an aprilia dealer get map 2 in there to sort the fuelling..not too much money 30-50 quid

As Red has said, get the bike changed over to Map 2, it will run better after this has been done.

I don't have a PC and my bike run's fine, but if you want it to run perfectly get yourself a PC3 or PC 5 and have it custom mapped, this is not really a cheap route though, so put aside a few £££.

Cheers mate all noted will call the dealer to get the map changed over....

Try it on map 2 m8 ,but you wont beat a custom map, but if you do fling on a freeflow air filter(k&n or pipercross)then go for it you can pickup a pc3 on fleabay for around a ton then find your friendly neibhourhood dyno man,but be sure to fire old tyres on her as they'll get mullered by the dyno,im pretty sure pc5s are for bikes made after 09 for some reason...at the end of the day it depends on wot you use your bike for track or road ,but be carefull it cost me a lot in petrol running map 2 before i got my pc3 and map done she can be a thirsty bugger,it might also be worth thinkin off dropping a tooth on the front sprocket and adding 2 to the rear this will make her a hell of allot easier to ride in towns.....
