hi all im on a track day on the 20th at silverstone (only £99) all good BUT its my first track day and i have 2 bikes an rsv and an r6, two im sure youll agree very different bikes.
now heres the problem i had an off on the rsv and lost some confidence but only on that bike i can still ride the r6 like i nicked it :devious.so do i use the r6 or try to regain my confidence on the rsv both very good track bikes can any help make my mind up (no bias because its an rsv forum lol) let me know what you think

SAFE RIDING BLASTER RSV:confused

Use the RSV, start slowly build your confidence, although it might be a bit frustrating at first.

you'll get more value out of a track day on a bike you are confident in from the start. I wouldn't fancy copse on a bike i felt nervous about. That said spending a bit of time getting the rsv suspension set up well for you would go a long way to resotring some of that confidence.

I dont know what to wear tomorow, will start a new thread, dont want to spam this one, so far I got blue socks and a hat.

do you know the cause of ya off?

i'd go for the rsv,
a better day to regain your confidence on track rather than the road

if your worried about dropping it use the r6 as there cheep

but if you want a real rush use the rsv

Use your R6 for the first one - easier to flick about and will let you concentrate on learning the track. Once you've done a few, use the RSV and see what you think.

i use my rsv and my brother uses an r6 - they are fairly equal in performance. just use whatever you like, no point in having something that you don't want to use properly
