Hey guys,
arrgh came off my spotless 2002 rsvr 5 weeks ago.

1 broken collar bone(plated) and broken shoulder blade.(LEFT SHOULDER)
1 dislocated collar bone(RIGHT SHOULDER)
1 fractured ankle.

But worse still.......TWO BENT OHLINS FORKS!!!!!!
soooo..I have seen replacement forks for £1700 EACH.

I know I'm asking alot, but I was looking for advice on if there are cheaper replacemet forks I could use or if anybody is selling unwanted used ohlins forks (I know...rocking horse **** will be easier to find:dunno)

I also need all plasticwork except the tank, but I'll pick that up as I go. I just wanted too know if it was possible to pick up forks first for a reasonable price.

Thanks for taking time to read this guys.

bad luck their matey, used ohlins forks regularly go for the £600 mark on e bay if not showa's profesionaly rebuilt for you would come in a lot cheaper and would fit with the correct yokes and i think wheel spindle.

The Ohlins are 51mm diameter , Showa's would not fit your yokes, also as yours is an "R" fitting Showa's would give the game away and reduce the resale amount not to mention screw your insurance up.

Dont be afraid to look on ebay.com as well as ebay.co.uk.

Sorry to hear about yer off mate, i would contact some people that specialize in forks as they can often be rolled and straightened, do a search for Dave East Engineering as he has done some work for me, he should be able to point yopu in the right direction
