:scaredHELP!!!:scared

This morning i started my mille and for some reason it had reverted to the factory settings of 6K red line for the revs and changed back to Km/h...

I changed it back easy enough, but it did it again to me later today on my way home (again when starting)... Also, it re-sets the miles ive done on the current tank of fuel & the clock!!!

So, my call for help is - Does anyone know what causes it & how to fix it?! Cos its :supergay and generally sucks :pissr...

So... please tell me there is some simple explanation and that it is easily remedied as i dont want to have to keep changing it back every time i start the bike!!

Oh yea, the bike is stored in a metal garage, and last night was very cold and very misty where i live... Which made me think moisture in wires, but then when it did it to me again when it was time to come home (and its been dry and warm all day) i was a tad worried!

Thanks in advance!!

dont forget im givin you the other one aswell, id like you to have the pair :bigok:bigok

sounds great to me does she take it......... no we will chat about that tomorrow he he

when you turn the ignition on, leave a moment for the fuel pump etc to prrime and stuff, if you dont it'l reset your clocks, a low battery can do the same. always use am optimate

yes optimate is the way ahead. These beasts need all the energy from that little battery to get btheir balls in gear.

My own mille does this quite a lot (Resetting clocks/revcounter etc).
Nobody seems to exacted why the bikes actually do it tho. Is it the starter solenoid that causes it (ie, get a new one), or is it that the batteries just aint big enough (ie, get an Optimate) ????????????????????
