I owned a 2007 Tuono and loved it. But I needed to let it go about 4 years ago. Looking to buy another bike again. I'm torn on which bike to get next and need help.
Looking at:
2020 Tuono RR Misano or Factory
2021 KTM 890 Duke R
Used 2015-2018 Multistrada.
I'm looking for a street oriented ride. Track days are at most a couple times a year to maybe none at all.
So is the Factory Electronic Semi-Active Suspension going to give me a much better ride on rough B type roads (San Francisco Bay Area) over the RR (i.e. base model)? I heard the Factory Ohlins suspension is really an advantage on the track and not so much on the street. In fact I heard the RR(base) model is softer than the factory. But is the RR really softer than the factory in it's softest setting?
Basically the new 2020 Tuono RR Misano is already at the top of my price range but there are some used Factory versions available for around the same price. So trying to decide to get one new or just look for a used factory for around the same price.
Also any opinions regarding the other bikes on the list.
