Hi guys, I just saw the invitation to share some stories and photos...
I'll keep it short, my Aprilia journey started in 2001 with a Mille, then a RSV1000, then one of the first Magnet Grey Tuono's in The Netherlands.
Most sportbike iders thought was hideous at the time so I lost some friends, especially after going for a "nice ride" ;-)
I started riding trackday pretty soon and we had lots of great days for quite some time, then I dropped out of the scene (choices we make...).
I jumped back on a Magnet Grey 03 again in 2022 to commute and then it all went fast.
At this moment I have four Tuono's, a 2003 MG commuter (crashed once), a 2003 MG donor (for sale), a 2004 Black and a 2008 Black.
I still have not decided to designate one as "trackbike" so both the black are street-legal and have goodies added constantly (attached photos are "old").
Of course I am way to careful with them, they're my pride and joy, I spend quite some time modding and try to avoid destroying them hahaha.
I am also one of the "more active" members of the Aprilia Racing Hub, an initiative in The Netherlands to gather all Gen-1/2 racers.
We are at 105 members now and it's great to see the passion for these characteristic bikes!
Anyway, stay safe and fast!
